CURIOSITY HALL *

In 2024, my team at Ideum and I launched a new exhibit at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The installation featured two distinct interactive experiences, allowing guests to create artwork on floor-mounted touch displays and see their creations projected onto a massive 60-foot-tall wall. I contributed extensively to the project, producing a wide range of textured 3D assets and participating in in-engine programming, environment design, lighting, and visual effects. The final exhibit utilized eight Christie projectors, delivering a combined resolution of over 36 million pixels and a total brightness of 130,000 lumens.

As the project’s technical artist and audio lead, I modeled and textured more than 20 unique, game-ready portrait frame assets using Blender and Substance Painter, as well as four distinct flying machine models, each featuring three interchangeable component variations for customization. I also created all foley and ambient audio for the final mix and composed and produced two original orchestral music pieces tailored specifically to the interactive experiences.

SOUNDTRACK

In addition to my work on the 3D environments, assets, and programming I also composed recorded, mixed and mastered an original orchestral soundtrack for the experience in my home studio in Santa Fe, NM.
